Our approach to your care

We hold ourselves to a higher standard of being guided by the most current medical and therapy science and research. We can only achieve the best care for you by remaining up to date with the most current evidence to apply to your concern. That’s why in our spare time we are reading journal articles, attending courses and generally keeping our noses in the science.

We opened our own independent clinic knowing that in order to get the best outcomes for patients we needed to take the time to know their story. After decades refining our skill to diagnose and treat the damaged tissue or structure we knew there was more to recovery than just applying the necessary medical treatment to the specific physiology and anatomy.

By all accounts we are complete anatomy and physiology nerds and take pride in being able to name each human structure, know how it moves, why it moves and on what angle it moves. Be in no doubt there is no profession with more expertise in understanding anatomy and physiology.

However, to complete our full picture of the human being we listen to what is going on in a persons life, the way they are undertaking their daily activities and their social and emotional experiences which might have an impact on healing. We know that a person’s mind and life can and does have a huge impact on their body. We know because we see it every day. The best part of that though, is that the mind and life can have a massive impact on healing too. And it’s our job to ensure it is factored into your rehabilitation.

We respect that patients usually know their body better than we do. It’s our job to meet that knowing with extensive physiology and anatomy knowledge, along with a superior understanding of the evidence for therapeutic techniques and skilled treatment techniques to guide patients through rehabilitation.

This is the Sync Approach to your care.
